The survival of photography, theatre and any media is depending on its capacity to reinvent itself by embracing new tools and new technologies. In a period of rapidly evolving digital social media the adaptation of these new digital technologies has placed the performer in the new role of ‘intermedialist’, that is; a performance artist who create a shared presence between performer, technology and audience.
In “The Story of The Panda Bear, Told by a Saxophonist who Has a Girlfriend in Frankfurt” project we create a physical world to study the effects of using virtual space and social media on our everyday experience of seeing.
